It is closely related to the art of still photography, though many additional issues arise when both the camera and elements of the scene may be in motion.

By and large Digital Imaging Technicians have grown up on set. They are the chief fire-fighters for all things related to digital capture while shooting, and manage to stay current regarding all the moving technology pieces related to this world.
